Vendetta

“Let vengeance be your sword,
And courage be your shield,
You are a guard of the Praetor,
Chosen to bring death to the traitor.”

This poem, written for the track Praetorian Guards by a fan, is one of the several fan-written works for Vendetta, Jo’s grand, Trailer Music album.

The tracks of Vendetta are filled to the brim with cutting edge suspense, adrenaline-fuelled adventure and majestic drama. Tracks such as “Praetorian Guards” and “Dystopic” transport the listeners to the heat of the battlefield, while “Satorius” and “Knights of Palmyra” take them on a triumphant adventure. The album also contains emotional yet grand tracks, with both “Conquest of Antaria” and “Lament of Cherubin” letting the users experience the pathos that war brings with it.

Even though the album’s primary purpose was Motion Picture Advertising, the public sales of the album were overwhelming. A large number of digital and physical copies of Vendetta were sold, almost at par with leaders of the genre.

This surprising turn of events also provided a challenge to Jo for future albums: he had to give equal importance to the needs of his fans apart from that of Motion Picture Advertising clients.

Tracks from Vendetta were used in the advertising campaigns of Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows, X-Men: First Class, Lincoln, Assassin’s Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington and many others.

The album received exceptional reviews from fans and critics alike, and the track “Satorius” went on to be nominated for the “Hollywood Music in Media Awards” in the genre “Classical.”

“Vendetta” is available as digital download on:

iTunes and Amazon

The album was recorded live in the Czech Republic under the baton of Petr Pololanik and the Capellen Orchestra & Choir, while all the solo vocal performances were provided by Felicia Farerre.
